About the role
The client, a leading international professional services firm, is seeking a commercially driven Country Manager to shape and execute the sales and business strategy for Italy. Reporting to the Board, you will align corporate objectives with local market dynamics and drive growth across B2B and B2B2C channels.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Board on strategic initiatives and country‑level P&L.
- Design and manage marketing and sales strategies to boost brand awareness and market leadership.
- Maintain and expand relationships with customers, retailers, and suppliers.
- Monitor competitors, develop business and trade‑marketing plans, and identify expansion opportunities.
- Create actionable plans, respond to emergencies, and oversee project delivery.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and retain senior talent to build a high‑performing team.
- Manage budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
Required profile
- 10+ years of experience as a Commercial Director in professional services.
- Proven track record of leading a country or regional P&L in B2B and B2B2C environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with a history of revenue growth and client partnership development.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills in both Italian and English.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to make fast decisions under uncertainty.
