DevOps Engineer

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will work within MSC Technology Italy’s international DevOps team, collaborating with colleagues in Geneva, Chennai and other locations. The role focuses on supporting and improving release management and CI/CD practices to boost delivery quality, efficiency, scalability, and speed across MSC’s IT project portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate the implementation of release management best practices.
• Maintain release management documentation, including build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
• Manage release dependencies and coordinate activities between distributed international teams.
• Identify, manage, and resolve issues affecting release scope, schedule, and quality.
• Develop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases across multiple platforms.
• Automate operational and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability.

Required profile

• Experience supporting and enhancing release management and CI/CD practices in a complex, multi‑site environment.
• Ability to work with international teams and coordinate cross‑country activities.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to address issues impacting release schedules and quality.
• Proactive attitude toward automation and process optimisation.
