About the role
The Tax practice at Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a highly organised Executive Assistant to support Managing Directors and the broader Tax team. The role ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations, allowing senior leaders to focus on strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- End‑to‑end diary management for Managing Directors, aligning priorities and optimizing time.
- Coordinate meetings and logistics, including agenda preparation, room and virtual‑conference bookings.
- Arrange complex travel itineraries (flights, hotels, visas, trains, cars) while controlling costs.
- Process expenses, submit invoices and liaise with finance and billing teams.
- Maintain Salesforce activity, ensure data integrity and support pipeline visibility.
- Prepare, format and quality‑check documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Book venues, manage event logistics and support internal and client‑facing events.
- Oversee onboarding for new joiners, ensuring operational readiness.
- Maintain holiday records, provide EA cover and ensure continuity of support.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, track actions and follow‑through.
- Support internal communications such as newsletters and team updates.
- Handle general administrative tasks and streamline operational workflows.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in professional services or a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining operational discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
