Financial Reporting & Tax Analyst (Milan)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Financial Reporting & Tax Analyst to join the Finance team of Cedacri (ION Group) in Milan. You will support accounting and tax activities, ensure compliance with Italian GAAP and IFRS, and contribute to process improvements in a dynamic, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general‑ledger accounting in line with Italian GAAP (OIC) and IFRS.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements and support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing.
• Manage periodic tax obligations, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax filings.
• Monitor regulatory changes and evaluate their impact on accounting and tax practices.
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and tax authorities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure correct application of tax and accounting rules.
• Support ERP (SAP) and financial tool enhancements.
• Assist with accounting tasks related to HR and payroll processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in a structured organization or Big‑4 consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting standards (OIC) and IFRS.
• Good understanding of Italian tax regulations.
• Fluency in Italian and solid English communication skills.

Required skills

• SAP (ERP system) experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
