Global Category Specialist

About the role

KIKO MILANO is seeking a Global Category Specialist to join its Category Team and report to the Global Category Management Director. The role will drive the brand’s wholesale business, provide performance analysis, and deliver strategic insights to support growth and portfolio optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a growth‑mindset, collaborative approach using insights, KPIs and culture to achieve sustainable results.
• Monitor and analyse category, brand and competitive performance across regions, leveraging product, consumer and macro‑societal trends.
• Conduct competitive analysis and track market shifts to uncover white‑space opportunities and new business potential.
• Produce reports on product trends and category growth potential.
• Analyse performance of categories, sub‑categories and SKUs to identify opportunities, risks and white spaces.
• Prepare dashboards and presentations for top management highlighting performance, trends and portfolio recommendations.
• Support channel‑specific assortment planning and collaborate with regional commercial teams for consistent brand representation.
• Work with trade marketing on gondola structures and merchandising, and align with product marketing, local offices and finance on assortment strategies and budgets.
• Contribute to go‑to‑market planning for launches and promotions, ensuring insights are reflected in wholesale strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Solid understanding of the beauty and retail industry.
