Industrial Engineering Mechatronic Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Industrial Engineering Mechatronic Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of our cutting‑edge equipment, from design through manufacturing, testing and installation. You will develop tools, procedures and improvements that guarantee safety, quality, cost efficiency and lead‑time performance while supporting cross‑functional project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the launch of new equipment from Kick‑Off Meeting to Factory Acceptance Test.
• Create standard work procedures, working instructions and master routing based on configuration maps.
• Act as the reference for electrical activities, including wiring baseline configuration and layout definition.
• Design tools and jigs required for assembly, manufacturing and testing to meet quality, cost and lead‑time targets.
• Participate in design reviews and introduce new electrical components together with engineering and sourcing teams.
• Support qualification of modules during manufacturing.
• Drive continuous improvement of electrical wiring processes using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Assist the production team in achieving customer project targets and propose corrective/preventive actions.
• Define master production data such as routing, sequence and labor hours.
• Analyze manpower hours per deal and lead year‑over‑year cycle‑time reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and objectives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical diagrams, wiring and mechanical concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English; French is an advantage.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and within cross‑functional, international teams.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
