About the role

Medicasa Italia is seeking qualified nurses to provide comprehensive home care services across several territories in Sicily. The role involves delivering preventive, curative, palliative and rehabilitative nursing care directly at patients' homes, while promoting health education and supporting patients and caregivers in therapeutic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general nursing assistance tailored to each patient’s health needs.
• Deliver preventive, curative, palliative and rehabilitative care following Medicasa’s technical, relational and educational standards.
• Educate patients on health topics and encourage active participation in therapeutic choices.
• Implement specific nursing interventions in line with the Individualized Assistance Plan (PAI).
• Adapt care to age, gender, health condition, physical/psychological fragility and cultural, religious or linguistic specifics.
• Use and store medical materials and devices correctly, ensuring proper documentation in the electronic health record.
• Identify care objectives, monitor clinical outcomes and report periodically.
• Participate in team meetings and operational briefings.

Required profile

• Valid BLSD (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Flexibility to work non‑fixed hours.
• Proficiency with personal computers and standard software applications.
• Physical fitness for home‑based nursing tasks.
• Own vehicle for travel between patient homes.

Required skills

• BLSD certification.
