International Logistics & Transportation Planning Internship

About the role

Barilla’s Central Supply Chain in Parma is looking for motivated students or recent graduates to join a six‑month internship focused on international logistics and transportation planning. You will work on a real‑world technical project, supported by a mentor, and gain hands‑on experience in the supply‑chain functions of a global food leader.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and optimisation of international freight movements.
• Analyse transportation data to identify cost‑saving and efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in the implementation of logistics tools and processes.

Required profile

• New graduate or second‑year master’s student in Engineering (Management, Mechanical or related fields).
• Strong academic record.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Analytical mindset and ability to work in a team.
• Study or work experience abroad is a plus.
