IoT Core PS Operations Engineer

About the role

Aeris Communications is seeking an IoT Core PS Operations Engineer to join its Global Network Operations team. The engineer will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of core network and connectivity solutions that support millions of IoT devices worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee lifecycle management of Core PS elements, including upgrades, replacements, and decommissioning.
• Provide advanced 3rd‑level troubleshooting, incident resolution, and service restoration within SLA.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation to support high‑severity incidents for L2 teams.
• Monitor platform capacity, plan upgrades and patches, enforce access controls, and analyze trends for improvement.
• Support design, planning, and implementation of new features, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
• Prepare and execute acceptance testing and hand over new features to the IoT Network Operations Center.
• Manage end‑to‑end Core PS network activities from design through deployment and integration.
• Integrate LLM‑based AI tools into daily workflows for log analysis, anomaly correlation, and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Willingness to provide 24 × 7 on‑call support (approximately two weeks per month).
• Ability to travel up to 10 % of the time.
• Hybrid work arrangement with two days per week on‑site at the Grozavesti office.
• Collaboration with 2nd‑level support, customer support managers, vendors, and client technical teams.
