Junior Mechanical Engineer – 9‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Porcari. You will focus on 3D design and technical documentation, supporting the development of our pneumatic and hydraulic actuator product range while working closely with experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D models and assemblies using CAD software such as Solid Edge and Inventor.
• Produce detailed drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation.
• Update, modify, and improve existing product designs.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities under supervision.
• Perform analytical mechanical calculations, including dimensioning, structural checks, and pressure‑related analyses.
• Investigate design issues and participate in basic problem‑solving tasks.
• Follow internal design standards and promote good engineering practices.

Required profile

• Educational background or initial experience (internship/placement) in mechanical, electronic, or mechatronic engineering.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools and experience creating/managing BOM structures.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and good communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset and interest in following products through the manufacturing process.
• Familiarity with R&D or New Product Development processes is a plus.
