Junior Mechanical Engineer – Opto‑Mechanics

About the role

We design and deliver innovative mechanical solutions for ground and space‑based optical applications. As a Junior Mechanical Engineer you will support the team in designing, developing and testing mechanical components, working closely with experts in mechanical, optical, electronic and manufacturing fields.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare manufacturing drawings and bills of materials.
• Support integration procedures and related documentation.
• Assist with structural analysis under supervision.
• Participate in technical meetings with customers and suppliers.
• Contribute to structural and thermal test activities.
• Prepare basic reports and documentation.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in high‑tech companies.
• University degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with engineering drawing standards.
• Good problem‑solving attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Basic English reading and speaking skills.
