Junior System Engineer with Software Skills

About the role

As a Junior System Engineer you will support complex engineering projects that combine electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithm and software design, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support system engineering projects with multidisciplinary expertise (electrical, mechanical, software, algorithms).
• Contribute to system engineering specifications and draft relevant sections.
• Perform and coordinate system tests, providing feedback to product, physics, algorithms and software teams.
• Identify and troubleshoot moderately complex technical issues, including serviceability and manufacturability.
• Assist system integration during assembly and final testing of new product designs.

Required profile

• Strong willingness to travel frequently (national and international).
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming languages (preferred TwinCAT – Beckhoff).
• Familiarity with industrial automation concepts and related technologies.

Required skills

• PLC programming (TwinCAT – Beckhoff preferred).
• Industrial automation concepts and hands‑on tooling.
• Basic understanding of software analysis and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of high‑level programming languages such as C++ and C#.
