Lecturer – Education Focused

About the role

The School of Global and Public Law at UNSW Law & Justice is seeking an Education‑Focused Lecturer (Level B) to join its teaching team on a two‑year fixed‑term contract. The role is based on the Kensington Campus in Sydney and involves delivering high‑quality instruction across undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, convene and teach courses in the LLB, JD and LLM programmes, covering subjects such as Public Law, Administrative Law, Federal Constitutional Law and International Law.
• Develop and deliver core LLM modules including Global Common Law Systems, Legal Concepts, Research and Writing.
• Potentially serve as the School’s Student Integrity Advisor, supporting academic integrity processes.
• Collaborate with the Head of School and teaching colleagues to drive educational excellence.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of law listed above.
• Strong commitment to high‑quality teaching and student learning outcomes.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative academic community.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.

Required skills

• Subject‑matter expertise in Public Law, International Law or related fields.
• Experience in curriculum design and delivery at the university level.
