Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at UNSW

About the role

UNSW Business School is seeking a tenure‑track academic at the Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) level to join the School of Information Systems & Technology Management. The successful candidate will work on the Kensington campus in Sydney, contributing to research, teaching and community engagement in Information Systems, Business Analytics or Operations Management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including technical subjects such as cybersecurity, AI, databases and networking.
• Conduct high‑quality research published in leading IS or OM conferences and journals.
• Engage with industry and professional bodies, securing collaborations and research funding.
• Provide academic leadership, curriculum development and mentorship of students and junior staff.

Required profile

• PhD in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Operations Management or a closely related field, to be completed by the end of 2026.
• Demonstrated record of publishing in top‑tier IS or OM venues.
• Experience teaching technical or business‑analytics courses is highly desirable.
• Commitment to staying current with developments in the discipline.
