Legal Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Specialist to join K‑Way’s legal team within the BasicNet Group. Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, you will support contract drafting and negotiation, ensure compliance, manage risk, and provide legal advice to internal stakeholders across multiple functions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a variety of commercial contracts, including agency, distribution, commercial lease, vendor, service agreements and NDAs.
• Provide legal counsel on commercial law matters such as consumer law, e‑commerce, and intellectual property.
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies; conduct legal research and summarize new developments.
• Coordinate with external counsel on litigation, manage disputes and assist in developing litigation strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to departments like Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations, delivering clear and actionable legal guidance.
• Identify potential legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate legal department or a commercial law firm.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with strong cross‑departmental relationship building.
• High‑energy professional with a strong team spirit.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in contract law and experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of agency, distribution and commercial lease contracts (a plus).
• Understanding of compliance, risk management and litigation support processes.
