About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for technical and mechanical upkeep of an active‑adult community, ensuring the physical integrity, cleanliness, safety and overall appearance of buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all property systems and equipment.
• Diagnose the source of defects or problems and execute repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and report any recurring issues.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations to minimize downtime.

Required profile

• Experience in technical or mechanical maintenance within a residential or commercial setting.
• Ability to follow established policies, safety procedures and regulatory codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with residents and team members.
