Mechanical Engineer – Inspection & Certification

About the role

Eurocert is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join its development team. You will manage projects from concept through completion, supporting the company’s inspection and certification activities on a local and global scale.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the business by acquiring new clients and expanding service offerings.
• Perform inspections, audits, and certification activities in accordance with Eurocert’s quality standards.
• Maintain system functionality and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Guide technical direction, act as a liaison between customers and the company, and mentor junior engineers.
• Promote continuous professional development through training, education, and networking events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience as an engineer or Lead Auditor within a certification body.
• Experience in scheme or certification management, preferably in systems or environmental contexts.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality‑control practices.
• High organizational, marketing, and self‑motivation abilities, with capacity to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
