About the role
STMicroelectronics is looking for a MEMS Design Engineer to join its MEMS design team. You will work on the development of innovative MEMS accelerometers and gyroscopes that power consumer, automotive and industrial applications.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies and select sensor architectures that meet performance specifications.
- Design sensor layouts and run simulations to predict behavior across manufacturing variability and real‑world scenarios.
- Measure and validate sensor prototypes in the laboratory, ensuring alignment between simulated and actual performance.
Required profile
- Degree in Mechanical, Physical or Electronic Engineering.
- Strong foundation in physics, mechanics and electronics.
- Interest in sensor technologies and a problem‑solving mindset.
- Attention to detail, accountability and a drive for innovation.
Required skills
- Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations.
- MATLAB® for data analysis and modeling.
