Mould Engineer – EMEA (Casella, Italy)

About the role

Aliaxis is seeking a Mould Engineer to join its EMEA Engineering team, based at the Casella site near Genoa, Italy. The role operates in a regional and international context, collaborating with colleagues across France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, and requires occasional travel within the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input to product development and product management to ensure designs meet performance and manufacturability criteria.
• Prepare technical specifications for mould sourcing and work closely with Procurement on supplier selection and technical reviews.
• Lead the mould sourcing process, including supplying design input to suppliers, approving design reviews, obtaining quotations, and conducting regular technical reviews.
• Participate in project meetings, offering insight and escalation on mould‑related aspects.
• Track and report mould status and progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with process and manufacturing engineers during mould commissioning.
• Validate and qualify new moulds to ensure they meet quality standards and production requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in injection mould engineering and technical sourcing.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, multi‑country team.
• Willingness to travel periodically across the EMEA region.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with suppliers, procurement, and internal stakeholders.
