Plant Operating Planning Specialist – Material Planner

About the role

Ferrero is seeking a Plant Operating Planning Specialist – Material Planner to join its Alba (CN) site. The role focuses on raw material and semi‑finished goods planning to guarantee continuous supply for production.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the optimal replenishment strategy for raw materials and semi‑finished goods.
• Create and maintain short‑ and mid‑term material plans aligned with production needs, supplier capacities and logistics constraints.
• Monitor material coverage, proactively addressing potential shortages or excess stock.
• Ensure master data and planning parameters are accurate, working closely with Procurement, Production, Quality and Central Material Management.
• Support material flows, reduce obsolescence and adapt plans to production changes.
• Track and analyse KPIs such as Supplier OTIF and material destructions, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in material, raw‑material or production planning.
• Master’s degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Strong analytical, organizational and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with SAP.
