Principal Mobile Developer – Android/iOS

About the role

Join Stellantis to lead the development of mobile applications that connect drivers with their vehicles. As a Principal Mobile Developer you will create high‑performance Android and iOS apps that enable remote control, real‑time monitoring, navigation and personalized insights for connected cars.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop native Android and iOS applications focused on UI/UX best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers and QA teams across geographies to define features and requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while ensuring high performance, reliability and battery efficiency.
• Integrate mobile apps with the connected‑vehicle platform using APIs and SDKs.
• Implement automated testing, debug issues, and guarantee a smooth user experience.
• Stay current with mobile development trends, emerging technologies and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of proven experience in mobile app development for iOS or Android, with a strong portfolio of released applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work in hybrid teams and solve complex technical problems.
