Responsabile Manutenzione Resort

About the role

The resort is seeking a Head of Maintenance to lead the POMEC department and ensure all facilities operate flawlessly. You will be based on‑site, overseeing building, MEP, and guest‑area systems to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the condition of all buildings, structures and MEP systems, reporting repairs to the Corporate Tech & Maintenance Manager.
• Monitor and maintain guest rooms, amenities, OS&E and equipment across Front and Back of House.
• Implement and report on a preventive maintenance programme.
• Oversee HVAC, fire‑life‑safety (FLS), pools and recreational facilities, handling troubleshooting and smooth operation.
• Manage the resort’s energy‑conservation programme and support CAPEX projects with external contractors.
• Organise team shifts, holidays and submit staffing proposals to the GM and Tech & Maintenance Manager.
• Provide on‑site or nearby residence for after‑hours emergency response.
• Control the daily intervention list, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Supervise landscaping activities performed by external companies or internal crew.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the General Manager to enhance guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role within upscale or resort hospitality.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, HVAC, pools and energy management.
• Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate with external contractors.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in Italian; English proficiency is a plus.
• Willingness to reside on‑site and respond to emergencies.
• Experience with CAPEX planning and reporting tools.
