Senior Back-End Developer

About the role

ai.ESRA is looking for a Senior Back‑End Developer to join the team that builds ESRA, a proprietary cyber‑risk analytics platform. You will play a key part in evolving, maintaining and expanding this innovative cybersecurity solution, directly contributing to the safety of digital environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain back‑end services for the ESRA platform using modern Java and/or Python.
• Implement and extend frameworks such as SpringBoot or Flask to meet product requirements.
• Work with Linux‑based environments and Docker containers to ensure reliable deployment.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and automate the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in product evolution, supporting features that are already in production.

Required profile

• Degree in a technical or scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience (7 years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Modern Java and/or Python programming.
• Experience with SpringBoot, Flask or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, networking, software design and architectural patterns.
• Proficiency with Linux, Docker, and containerisation.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD and SDLC automation.
• Nice‑to‑have: Rust, Golang, C#.
• Background in cybersecurity contexts is a plus.
