Site Security Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Security Manager to lead security operations at a datacenter in Milan. Reporting to the Campus Security Manager, you will oversee a dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of safety, security, and operational excellence across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop security personnel, handling recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with site policies, procedures and SOPs across all shifts.
• Oversee security operations, performance metrics, audits and the effective use of security systems.
• Manage the Security Operations Center, including CCTV monitoring, access control, incident reporting and security logs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with client and company standards.
• Act as primary contact for datacenter management in the Campus Security Manager’s absence.
• Identify security risks and recommend improvements to strengthen resilience.
• Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with health, safety and security regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in security management or operational/business management within a security‑focused environment.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a fast‑paced operational setting.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and respond to emergencies.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and reliability.
