Software Engineer – Debugging & Customer Focus

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Bucharest hub and help build software that IT professionals love. You will work on our Detect core platform, contribute new features, and directly troubleshoot and resolve customer‑reported issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship high‑quality code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Investigate, reproduce and fix bugs reported by customers, often collaborating with Support, Product and Engineering teams.
• Implement efficient fixes and improvements to maintain reliability of our SaaS device‑management solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor peers and continuously improve development tools and processes.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to keep our platform modern and secure.

Required profile

• Full‑time candidate residing in Romania within commuting distance of Bucharest.
• Strong passion for debugging, problem solving and delivering value to customers.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.
• Commitment to high standards of code quality and continuous improvement.
