Supply Planner

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Planner to join the Global Sales Demand and PS Planning team at our headquarters in Padova. The role focuses on building medium‑ and long‑term supply plans for optical frames and sunglasses, ensuring product availability while controlling costs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 6‑12 month and 12‑24 month supply plans for assigned product categories, managing a complex portfolio of international suppliers.
• Translate demand forecasts into purchase plans, issuing purchase orders while considering seasonality, MOQs, lead times, production capacity and collection constraints.
• Manage Make‑to‑Stock and Make‑to‑Order flows and identify supply risks such as capacity constraints or delays.
• Report on capacity utilization, highlight inefficiencies and propose continuous improvements to reduce wasted capacity.
• Collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Purchasing, Supplier Management, Operations and Finance to align sales plans with supply capabilities.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in inventory or capacity planning, preferably in a global fashion environment.
• Solid understanding of supply planning principles, inventory management and end‑to‑end supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI tracking and performance reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and a proactive, structured work approach.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP environments (SAP, SAP/BW, SAP S/4).
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau.
