Business Development Manager

About the role

Join AIT Worldwide Logistics as a Business Development Manager and help shape the future of global freight forwarding. Based in central Italy, you will work remotely while travelling to meet clients, driving new revenue streams across our core logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, initiate and engage with prospective clients to generate profitable business.
• Develop and execute a field‑sales business plan aligned with corporate revenue targets.
• Prepare offers, calculations and presentation materials for sales meetings.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and coordinate cross‑departmental information.
• Support existing customers and expand professional cooperation.
• Conduct regular review meetings and report on performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Completed training as a forwarding specialist is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding or supply‑chain industry.
• Fluent Italian and strong English communication skills.
