Contract Manager

About the role

Huawei Europe is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join its Rome office. You will be responsible for preparing commercial proposals, drafting contracts, and leading negotiations for large‑scale telecommunications projects across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare commercial proposals, bidding SOCs, contracts, cover letters and related documentation.
• Design business models that align with bid requirements while minimizing Huawei’s risk exposure.
• Lead and negotiate overseas telecom turnkey and managed/maintenance service contracts as the chief negotiator.
• Formulate negotiation strategies, act as the primary client liaison, and ensure successful implementation.
• Draft and review contracts, leveraging standard templates such as FIDIC and other industry‑specific forms.
• Contribute to corporate negotiation capability through training and experience sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in international trade, business law, project management or related fields.
• 5‑10 years of contract management experience, preferably in the energy or telecommunications sector.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in both Italian and English.
