Corporate Cyber Security Senior Analyst

About the role

The Corporate Cyber Security Senior Analyst works within Barilla's Global Corporate Cybersecurity team, ensuring the secure and resilient operation of the company’s global digital environment. The role combines hands‑on security operations, engineering, and technical oversight of external managed services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, administer and continuously improve corporate cybersecurity technologies across hybrid cloud, on‑premises and SaaS environments, including lifecycle and health management.
• Perform detection engineering, threat hunting, and evidence‑led incident response, coordinating with external SOC, MDR and specialist services.
• Provide technical input to service sourcing, renewal and transition, and validate delivery by managed‑service providers.
• Manage risk‑based vulnerability, exposure and secure‑configuration activities, prioritising remediation based on exploitability and business impact.
• Support security‑by‑design reviews, GDPR privacy‑by‑design requirements, and deliver low‑ to medium‑complexity cybersecurity projects.
• Maintain operational procedures, playbooks and response readiness aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 and NIS2 obligations.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in corporate cybersecurity operations and engineering.
• Proven ability to work with external service providers and lead technical reviews.
• Strong analytical skills for incident investigation, threat‑chain analysis and risk‑based remediation planning.

Required skills

• SIEM and SOAR platforms (e.g., integration, playbook development).
• Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) integration and IoC operationalisation.
• KQL or similar query languages for telemetry analysis.
• Hybrid cloud, on‑premises and SaaS security technologies.
• Vulnerability management and secure‑configuration/hardening practices.
• Identity and Access Management, including privileged access controls.
