EHS Manager (RSPP) – Safety & Environmental Lead

About the role

Eaton’s Mobility Group is seeking an EHS Manager (RSPP) for its Bosconero Valves Plant near Turin. You will be responsible for creating a safe, healthy, and environmentally‑controlled workplace, ensuring full compliance with Italian and regional regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and internal standards.
• Drive ISO 14001 and MESH compliance, coordinating a robust management system that anticipates and resolves EHS risks.
• Lead risk‑assessment activities and maintain the DVR (Risk Assessment Document) in line with regulations.
• Plan, deliver and track EHS training for all personnel.
• Manage hazardous materials, PPE, and waste‑management processes to meet legal and corporate standards.
• Coordinate preventive and periodic inspections, taking decisive action, including production stoppage when necessary.
• Monitor and audit EHS processes, conduct accident investigations, implement corrective actions and lead 8D problem‑solving.
• Track and report key EHS metrics for transparent, data‑driven decision making.
• Ensure emergency preparedness, developing fire‑evacuation instructions and training.
• Represent the company with local authorities on all EHS matters and secure right‑to‑operate permits.
• Manage the EHS budget and help shape the site’s EHS strategy in partnership with Plant Management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in EHS management within an industrial setting, preferably in Italy.
• In‑depth knowledge of Italian legislation, RSPP responsibilities, ISO 14001 and MESH frameworks.
• Strong ability to lead risk assessments, audits, training programs and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with employees, authorities and senior management.
