Italian-Ukrainian Interpreter (Freelance)

About the role

STAR7, a language service provider founded more than 20 years ago and now expanding worldwide, supports its customers across the product information and content life cycle. It is recruiting freelance interpreters who speak Italian and Ukrainian to join its growing team. The work is mainly based in the Rome metropolitan area and covers projects ranging from financial to technical fields such as aerospace and automotive.

Key responsibilities

• Provide simultaneous and/or consecutive interpreting services for various projects.
• Ensure the content and meaning of the source language are accurately conveyed in Ukrainian.
• Maintain high grammatical accuracy, correct terminology and cultural appropriateness.
• Deliver clear and professional communication.
• Produce high-quality audio for remote simultaneous interpretation (RSI).
• Follow project-specific linguistic guidelines and instructions.

Required profile

• Fluency in Italian and Ukrainian, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in simultaneous interpreting.
• Strong ability and willingness to learn specialized terminology.
• Ability to work remotely and on-site, depending on project requirements.
• Professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail.
