Junior IP Telecommunications Network Engineer Internship

About the role

Huawei Italy is offering a 6‑month paid internship for a Junior IP Telecommunications Network Engineer. The program is designed to give fresh graduates or current students hands‑on experience in Datacom (IP) technologies and to prepare them for a full‑time position within the company.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement B2B delivery solutions for Datacom (IP) domain products.
• Install, configure, commission and integrate high‑performance telecommunications equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and fine‑tune network configurations to maximise stability and performance.
• Collaborate with customer‑facing teams to resolve technical issues and support project roll‑outs.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or current student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Graduation date ideally within 6‑12 months of the internship start.
• Fluent in Italian (written and spoken) and professional proficiency in English.
• Valid authorization to live and work in Italy.

Required skills

• Fundamental knowledge of IP networking and network architecture.
• Understanding of Datacom technologies and fixed/mobile domain concepts.
• Ability to install, configure and optimise telecommunications equipment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for network troubleshooting.
