Junior Project Manager Internship – Telecom Operations

About the role

Huawei Italy is offering a 6‑month Junior Project Manager internship in Rome. The program is designed to give fresh graduates or current students hands‑on experience in telecom project operations, supply‑chain logistics and cross‑functional coordination, with a view to a full‑time position after successful completion.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Project Manager in daily project execution, including resource allocation and subcontractor workflow management.
• Support the deployment of telecom network materials and equipment across sites.
• Track project milestones, collect status updates from technical teams and prepare progress reports for internal and customer stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation such as contracts, specifications, purchase orders and invoices, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Identify potential bottlenecks, document issues and work with engineers, vendors and clients to implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Management Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
• Graduation date within 6‑12 months of the internship start.
• Strong organisational abilities and a passion for project management and supply‑chain processes.
• Excellent problem‑solving, adaptability and high emotional intelligence for international team environments.
• Fluency in Italian (written and spoken).
