Lead Software Engineer – Mobile Development (Crypto Wallets)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the development of high‑performance crypto wallet applications on iOS and Android. The role combines deep mobile engineering expertise with blockchain knowledge, allowing you to shape the architecture and user experience of products used by a global audience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop cross‑platform mobile applications using React Native, ensuring performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience.
• Provide technical leadership to a small team of mobile engineers, setting architectural standards and overseeing delivery quality.
• Define and maintain core mobile foundations such as state management, navigation, modularization, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs, SDKs, WebSockets, and blockchain services, and contribute to backend components when needed.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and enforce engineering excellence.
• Translate product and design requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt modern mobile tools, frameworks, and development patterns to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in mobile development with a strong focus on React Native.
• Proven track record of leading or mentoring mobile engineering teams and owning architecture for large‑scale applications.
• Solid understanding of mobile CI/CD pipelines, native build processes, and front‑end tooling.
• Experience integrating native modules and working with iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) for low‑level functionality.
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and distributed backend integration.
