Legal Counsel – Maternity Cover (Italy)

About the role

Kering is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its Legal Shared Services EMEA team on a temporary basis, covering a maternity leave. The role will be based in either Scandicci (near Florence) or Milan and will support the Group’s luxury brands by providing legal advice and protecting their projects and assets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and consultancy to Operations, Procurement, Sustainability, Product Compliance and other departments.
• Draft, analyse and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements in Italian and English, including NDAs, supply contracts, machinery purchase agreements, procurement and services agreements, consultancy contracts, logistics and inter‑company agreements.
• Support the management of claims, disputes and litigation within the assigned areas.
• Conduct legal research, prepare opinions and monitor legal developments.
• Develop internal legal notes, templates and training materials.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align legal strategies with business objectives.

Required profile

• Law degree with significant in‑house legal experience, especially in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Deep knowledge of the Italian legal system.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, project‑management and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in Italian and English; French is a plus.
