Private Equity Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Equity & Investment Funds Attorney to join a global financial services leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while providing expert legal guidance on fund formation, compliance, and transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on structuring, formation, and ongoing compliance of private equity and investment funds.
• Draft, review, and negotiate fund agreements, side letters, and related transactional documents.
• Provide regulatory guidance on SEC and other applicable financial frameworks.
• Conduct due diligence for fund investments and related transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align legal and business objectives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in private equity or investment fund law, including fund formation and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of SEC regulations and other relevant financial regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex legal agreements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
