Sales Area Manager – Rome, Italy

About the role

Infinidat, a Lenovo company, is looking for a proactive Sales Area Manager to drive revenue growth for its enterprise storage platforms across Rome and South Italy. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting new logos to expanding existing accounts, while collaborating closely with a Pre‑Sales Systems Engineer and a Channel Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed the assigned quota for enterprise storage solutions through direct sales and partner channels.
• Identify, develop, and open new enterprise accounts within the territory, focusing on new‑logo acquisition.
• Create compelling proposals and presentations for prospects and customers.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders at all levels.
• Lead RFP/RFI and tender responses in partnership with internal teams and channel partners.
• Maintain high customer and partner satisfaction throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align on strategy and drive cross‑functional success.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of quota‑carrying sales experience, preferably in enterprise storage or enterprise technology.
• Proven track record of closing complex, high‑value deals and opening new accounts.
• Strong network and existing relationships within the Rome/South Italy territory.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the assigned region.
