Senior Business Development Manager – South Italy (Puglia)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead our commercial activities in the southern region of Italy, based in the northern part of Puglia. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be the primary contact for key accounts and will drive both revenue and profitability in line with CooperVision’s strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned regional key customers and other relevant accounts, focusing on A&B segments.
• Develop and execute joint business plans with customers, coordinating with Customer Service, Field Professionals, and Customer Marketing.
• Achieve annual sales target of approximately €1.4 million across ~180 customers, optimizing travel and call planning.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of CooperVision products, clinical data and market positioning, and convey this to customers.
• Participate in sales meetings, seminars, exhibitions and represent the company to enhance customer experience.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Sales, Customer Marketing, Credit Collection and Customer Service.

Required profile

• Proven sales professional with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy and resilience, able to influence at all management levels.
• Strategic, long‑term focus with the ability to generate insight‑driven business selling.
• Experience managing a large geographical area and working independently as well as within cross‑functional teams.
