Sourcing Specialist – Procurement & Supplier Management

About the role

The Sourcing Specialist will drive the procurement process for Group O, identifying and engaging suppliers to secure high‑quality goods and services at optimal cost. You will build strong supplier relationships, ensure compliance, and support the company’s strategic objectives through effective sourcing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential suppliers via market research, industry networks, and trade shows.
• Evaluate suppliers on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery capabilities.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms to achieve best value.
• Maintain supplier documentation, quotes, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and address quality, delivery, or cost issues.
• Enter and update item, supplier, and cost data in the ERP system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
• Identify and implement process improvements in the sourcing cycle.
• Stay informed on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply‑chain innovations.

Required profile

• High school diploma (associate’s degree preferred).
• Relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply‑chain management.
• Meticulous attention to contract and supplier evaluation details.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Adaptability to changing market conditions and company needs.
• Commitment to ethical sourcing and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn and use ERP software.
