Technical Maintenance Intern – Fall 2026

About the role

Join Bosch’s Technical Engineering Function as a Maintenance Intern for the Fall 2026 term. You will support the plant’s maintenance team by managing spare‑parts inventory, ensuring consumables are available, and helping to keep equipment running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies and apply corrective actions.
• Monitor stock levels, generate purchase requisitions and track orders to avoid stock‑outs or excess.
• Issue parts against work orders in the CMMS and keep ERP data up‑to‑date.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and TPM initiatives through effective parts management.
• Apply 5S principles to keep the storeroom organized and safe.
• Analyse usage trends, develop KPIs and suggest cost‑reduction opportunities.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a technical degree program (e.g., engineering, mechatronics).
• Strong interest in manufacturing, maintenance and inventory control.
• Basic computer literacy with a focus on data entry and analysis.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Experience or coursework involving Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
