Waiter – Hospitality Service

About the role

JO&JOE is a modern hostel brand that combines hotel comfort with the vibrant atmosphere of a youth hostel. We are looking for a friendly and proactive Waiter to join our team, serving guests across breakfast, lunch and dinner while supporting bar operations and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, take orders, upsell and provide table service for all meals.
• Assist the bar team with coffee service, basic drink preparation and appetizer serving.
• Set up and serve during private parties, themed nights and live‑music sessions.
• Share menu knowledge and promote our services to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and aesthetic standards of dining and common areas.
• Complete end‑of‑day closure, reports and use the CRM/operational system.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in bistros, cocktail bars or boutique hotels.
• Native Italian speaker with fluent English; a third language is a plus.
• Team player with problem‑solving mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Flexible availability for shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and the cosmopolitan hostel environment.

Required skills
