Physiotherapist - Cruise Ship

About the role

The cruise line is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join its onboard medical team. You will work closely with the Senior Doctor, Safety Officer and Staff Captain to ensure crew health, prevent injuries and support rehabilitation while at sea.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physiotherapy treatments as directed by the Senior Doctor.
• Design and lead injury‑prevention programs, ergonomic training and stretching sessions for key departments.
• Observe work practices, correct unsafe behaviours and track musculoskeletal injuries.
• Provide rehabilitation support, including Tele‑PT follow‑up for crew members.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with administrative duties.
• Participate in safety drills and ensure emergency readiness.
• Keep professional licences current and help manage medical inventory.

Required profile

• MA in Physiotherapy with a valid professional licence.
• Minimum 3 years of physiotherapy experience, preferably in a maritime or occupational setting.
• Strong clinical, communication and organisational abilities.
• Fluent in English (intermediate to advanced).
• Ability to work seven days a week, respond to emergencies and meet shipboard physical demands.

What we offer

• $2,750 per month salary (USD) for the onboard period.
