Production Technician

About the role

Join Novartis as a Production Technician working in a sterile area dedicated to aseptic manufacturing. You will contribute to the preparation and production of pharmaceutical batches while ensuring compliance with GMP, SOPs and all relevant documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate on a shift schedule, including nights and weekends, to carry out batch preparation and production activities.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, cleaning and periodic microbiological verification of the production environment.
• Support external specialists during extraordinary maintenance or qualification projects.
• Report any deviations or out‑of‑specification results promptly to the Production Manager and Qualified Person.
• Conduct incoming and outgoing verification of raw materials and consumables.
• Assist the Production Manager with material stock management, waste handling and training of new staff.

Required profile

• Scientific or technical background.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including night shifts and weekends.
• Fluent in Italian and good knowledge of English.

Required skills

• Good understanding of GMP principles.
• Familiarity with SOPs and aseptic manufacturing processes.
• Experience with microbiological verification techniques.
• Material handling and stock management competence.
