Construction Supervision Senior Engineer

About the role

RINA Consulting is seeking a Construction Supervision Senior Engineer to lead civil engineering construction projects in Rome. You will ensure that each project meets design criteria, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and budget constraints while promoting safety and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to completion, guaranteeing compliance with all specifications and regulations.
• Review and approve technical documents, prepare contractual deliverables, and resolve discrepancies with contractors.
• Implement and monitor rigorous quality‑control procedures throughout the construction phase.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identify potential delays, and apply corrective actions.
• Coordinate resources, subcontractors, suppliers, and equipment to optimise productivity.
• Track project expenditures, advise on cost‑control measures, and support budget management.
• Collaborate with the Construction Safety Senior Engineer to enforce safety programs and conduct site inspections.
• Analyse technical issues, propose solutions, and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in managing contractor claims, scope changes, and related schedule or design adjustments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil engineering construction supervision, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong knowledge of construction regulations, quality standards, and safety practices.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills for multi‑disciplinary coordination.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.
