Project Quality Manager

About the role

Under the authority of the Chief Vehicle Engineer, the Project Quality Manager is responsible for achieving the quality objectives of vehicle projects. The role involves defining, consolidating and managing quality actions throughout the project lifecycle to ensure product and process excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead achievement of project, module, platform and propulsion quality objectives.
• Ensure feasibility of quality targets by considering experience feedback and progress plans with stakeholders.
• Oversee execution of quality processes throughout the project.
• Monitor product and process results, initiating preventive and corrective actions to meet quality targets.
• Organize training for the project team on all topics, not limited to quality.
• Build project quality reporting and establish indicators for each project phase.
• Manage risks linked to lessons learned from previous programs and QCTP (Quality, Cost, Technical, Planning) risks.
• Detect, analyze and treat defects identified on physical means.
• Support the engineering team to ensure quality convergence of main suppliers.
• Coordinate project‑plant organization to fine‑tune product/process and specific quality operations during industrial phases.
• Organize traceability processes and manage detection, analysis and treatment of anomalies on physical means.
• Manage incoming inspection of external parts and ensure the latest part evolutions are on vehicles.
• Handle customer claims from the field after commercial launch and propose modernization requests.
• Prepare and provide quality information for transfer to mass production at project end.
