Specialist - Tax & Treasury (1-year contract, part-time)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Specialist to support both corporate tax and treasury functions on a part‑time, one‑year basis. You will work remotely with teams across Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Poland, helping to ensure compliance, optimise tax positions and improve cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Drive corporate tax activities across multiple jurisdictions, focusing on corporate income tax, withholding tax and optimisation opportunities.
• Review and monitor tax calculations, provisions and cash‑flow planning, ensuring compliance at local and group level.
• Maintain and enhance transfer‑pricing policies, intercompany agreements and annual TP calculations.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors and consulting firms, managing projects, reviewing analyses and handling audit responses.
• Lead independent projects addressing complex financial and tax challenges.
• Support short‑term liquidity planning, bank account management and implementation of a EUR cash pool.
• Collaborate with global finance managers to allocate liquidity efficiently and manage refinancing tranches.
• Oversee daily cash management, payment transactions and intercompany financing agreements, including interest calculations.
• Enhance the Treasury Management System and define requirements for improvements to core treasury IT applications.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Taxation or a comparable commercial qualification.
• At least two years of hands‑on experience in corporate tax and/or treasury, preferably in an international group.
• Strong expertise in corporate taxation, transfer‑pricing principles and collaboration with external advisors.
• Service‑oriented, reliable, proactive with a hands‑on mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams and cultures.
• Structured, analytical, with a strong affinity for numbers and IT systems.
• Business‑fluent English; additional German skills are an advantage.
• Self‑driven, proactive personality with sound judgment and a willingness to learn.
