Accountant

About the role

Off-White is seeking an Accountant to join its Finance team in Milan. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will handle day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance and smooth fiscal operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute high‑volume transactional activities and manage data across multiple accounting processes.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, processing and recording invoices accurately.
• Maintain general‑ledger entries and assist with month‑end closing procedures.
• Prepare monthly VAT returns and support tax and administrative compliance.
• Contribute to controlling activities, financial reporting and the preparation of financial statements.
• Utilise and maintain the Odoo ERP system for accounting operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a comparable accounting role.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Fluent Italian and good English communication skills.
• Familiarity with Odoo or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, hands‑on and comfortable in a high‑volume environment.
