Accountant – Manufacturing Spare Parts

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join a multinational leader in the manufacturing of passenger‑car and commercial‑vehicle spare parts. The role supports daily accounting operations, month‑end closing, and financial reporting while contributing to process optimisation and digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements, inventory, GR/IR and price‑difference accounts.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, including balance‑sheet and income‑statement preparation.
• Assist with tax compliance, VAT and corporate tax filing.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Execute intercompany reconciliations and contribute to group reporting.
• Optimise accounting processes using SAP S/4HANA and support system upgrades and digitalisation projects.
• Conduct budget variance and margin analyses and participate in the annual budgeting process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or a professional accounting certification.
• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
