Financial Controller – Manufacturing

About the role

Ingersoll Rand’s Vignate plant is seeking a Financial Controller with strong manufacturing experience to bridge accounting and operational analysis. The role will support cost, variance, inventory and asset accounting while driving data‑driven decisions for production performance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate month‑end close activities in SAP FI/CO and COPA, supervising shared‑service resources.
• Validate expenses, costs, GL entries, cost and profit centers, and approve accruals, reserves and adjustments.
• Manage cost recharges, debit/credit notes and ensure GL integrity.
• Perform cost and variance analysis of material, labor and overhead, providing actionable insights to plant management.
• Support accounts payable coding and invoice booking, and assist with tax compliance and returns.
• Develop and improve accounting and costing processes, data integrity, reporting and internal controls.

Required profile

• Solid accounting fundamentals with hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical capability and ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
• Comfortable working on‑site in a plant setting and motivated by continuous improvement.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and operational reporting tied to production performance.
