AI Automation Specialist (Marketing background)

About the role

This position is for a technically skilled marketing professional who will design, build, and optimise AI‑powered automation workflows for fast‑growing e‑commerce, subscription and food & beverage brands. Working remotely in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment, you will transform manual marketing processes into scalable, data‑driven systems that directly impact growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain AI‑driven marketing automation workflows across multiple brands and channels.
• Build scalable systems for content generation, reporting, customer insights, email marketing and operational efficiency using tools such as Make, Zapier or n8n.
• Manage and optimise SEO initiatives, including keyword research, metadata, internal linking and competitor analysis.
• Support local SEO by handling business listings, citations and location‑based optimisation.
• Develop lifecycle email campaigns (welcome flows, abandoned cart, post‑purchase, segmentation and retention).
• Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues and continuously improve reliability and scalability.
• Analyse funnel performance and campaign metrics to provide actionable insights and performance reports.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical stakeholders to rapidly implement and iterate solutions.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in marketing automation, workflow optimisation or systems development.
• Hands‑on expertise with automation platforms such as Make (Integromat), Zapier or n8n.
• Practical experience implementing AI‑driven workflows using tools like Claude or ChatGPT.
• Strong understanding of SEO, organic growth strategies and e‑commerce marketing ecosystems.
